We provide high-quality care delivered by an exceptionally trained team of nursing and care staff. We take a person-centred approach to everything we do, ensuring we are always meeting the needs of every one of our residents.
A place to live, laugh and love in Stanley Town Centre.
Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information
The MPS Care Home Group continues to adhere to the guidelines set by Public Health England Agency. The health and wellbeing of our residents and staff are of utmost priority. Therefore we ask that you please contact the homes directly about visiting opportunities as well as new care enquiries as we are safely accepting new residents.
Here at St Andrew’s, all of our rooms have been tastefully decorated and many come with en-suite bathroom facilities. Our communal areas are spacious and well-furnished, and we place a large emphasis on those homely qualities which enable residents to feel relaxed during their stay here – almost as if they’d never left home.
Every individual is different which is why we develop personalised care plans which are suited to their specific needs. All of our carers are highly experienced and understand the importance of being able to adapt to any given situation, so that we can fulfil our promise to keep your loved ones safe no matter what life throws at them.
We believe that one of the most important aspects of old age is continuing to take advantage of every day, which is why we encourage residents to live life to the fullest. Where possible, we strive to ensure that residents can lead as normal a life as possible, but always with the promise of our full support when required.
To provide the care that is most appropriate for your loved ones, we undertake a thorough analysis of their needs and requirements. At St Andrew’s, our long-serving team is experienced and able to adapt to a range of situations, providing exceptional and effective care as an utmost priority. Amongst other forms of daily care, our carers here specialise in:

As we get older, it can be difficult to stay active and social, which is why we take a proactive approach to keeping active at St Andrew’s. We organise a wide range of both indoor and outdoor activities throughout the calendar year, all of which are led by our own in-house activity coordinator:
With such a wide variety of activities, there is bound to be something for everyone. For a more detailed look at the activities on offer across the MPS Care Group, please visit our activities page.
Much like keeping active, maintaining a healthy and balanced diet is a key contributor to our health and wellbeing. To ensure that the food we eat is therefore the best it can be for our residents, we partnered with apetito, the leading food producer for the health and social care sector.
Every day, apetito helps provide our residents with the highest quality home-cooked meals, freshly prepared by dedicated chefs using exceptional local produce. As a result, there’s a fantastic variety of food on our menu, and we can cater for special dietary needs when required. We also see eating as a great opportunity to socialise and chat, which is why we eat all our meals together, three times a day, every day.
If you’d like to take a more detailed look at our partnership with apetito, or to browse a selection of the menus available at any of MPS Care Group’s homes, please visit our dining experiences page.
