Hours: Bank – Fully flexible.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This role involves the following duties & responsibilities

Kitchen Assistant

• To provide residents with nutritious meals to our residents.
• To meet residents’ dietary requirements as necessary.
• To comply with all Health and Safety regulations including Food Hygiene and C.O.S.H.H. regulations and ensure compliance from all kitchen staff.

Domestic Assistant

• Maintain cleanliness of all floors and surfaces.
• Remove rubbish in accordance with waste disposal policy
• Fully clean vacated rooms ready for new residents.
• Undertake laundry duties in the absence of laundry staff.

The list of duties is not exhaustive, but outlines the main regular parts of the roles. Other reasonable duties may be requested by home manager or senior members of staff.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in similar roles
• Knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, including Food Hygiene and C.O.S.H.H.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations and COSHH standards is a distinct advantage.
• Experience working in a social care or similar environment is an advantage. but not essential.
